What is your job in 25 words or less?
Helping water providers estimate water demands, identify supplies to help meet those demands, work with them to make sure the water is administered and accounted for properly, and then I'll help protect that water from injury.

What is one thing you like to do for fun?
On any given night, you might find me artfully doodling in my swear word coloring book, they call it stress relief!
How long have you worked in the water industry and what first sparked your interest in this field?
I have been working in Colorado Water Resources for 13 years, and was initially drawn to people and instantly loved the work.
What is one thing you wish you knew prior to starting your career?
You didn't learn this in college.
Is there a particular project or program that you have worked on or are working on right now that you would like to tell us about?
Being a part of the team of professionals who worked to pass legislation regarding historical consumptive use analyses (SB15-183!). It was very encouraging and enlightening seeing attorneys and engineers who typically sit on opposing sides of issues working together to achieve a common goal.
What are some upcoming trends or challenges you see with Colorado water?
Collaboration! I'm excited to see how the state is coming together across so many disciplines to meet the demands of our state and our compacts.
What value or benefit does being a Colorado AWRA member bring you?
Great colleagues. I have developed lasting relationships with so many rockstars in our industry through the networking and lunch events, and the Symposium!
